Overview
Golpho is an event engagement platform used by event providers, hosts, and guests. Golpho may be used to collect and display event scores, guest-uploaded photos and videos, guest messages, event galleries, leaderboards, recaps, and downloadable memory exports.
Information We Handle
Depending on how an event is set up, Golpho may handle information such as:
- Guest names
- Guest phone numbers or email addresses if an event provider chooses to collect them
- Event scores, leaderboard entries, and round results
- Photos, videos, and written messages submitted by guests
- Basic event usage information needed to keep the app working and improve reliability
How We Use Information
Golpho uses this information to operate the event experience, including to:
- Let guests join events and submit scores
- Show photos, videos, messages, and leaderboards during or after an event
- Allow hosts and event providers to export or save event memories
- Support customer service, platform reliability, and fraud or abuse prevention
Google Photos Export
Golpho may allow a host to connect their Google Photos account to save event photos and videos into their own Google Photos account.
- Golpho uses Google access only to create albums and upload selected event media that the user chooses to save.
- Golpho does not read, edit, delete, or access the user's existing Google Photos library.
- Users can disconnect Golpho's Google access at any time through their Google Account permissions.
Sharing and Event Visibility
Event providers and hosts control how their event experience is configured. Content that guests upload may be visible to hosts, approved for recap or gallery views, or included in event memory exports, depending on the event settings and moderation choices made by the event provider.
Data Storage and Security
Golpho keeps event-related information for as long as it is reasonably needed to operate the service, provide exports, support hosts and providers, meet legal obligations, and maintain platform security.
Your Choices
Users may choose whether to submit photos, videos, messages, or certain contact details when those fields are optional.
Users who connect Google Photos can remove that connection through their Google Account permissions at any time.
